٤١٤. وَفِي خَبَرٍ آخَرَ أَنَّهُ (عليه السلام) قَالَ لِلْأَشْعَثِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ مُعَزِّياً (عَنِ ابْنٍ لَهُ) 
					
				
 
			
					
					
					414. In another tradition it is related that Amīr al-mu’minīn, peace be upon him, said to al-Ash‘ath ibn Qays by way of condolence on the death of his son: 
					
				
 
			
					
					
					إِنْ صَبَرْتَ صَبْرَ الْأَكَارِمِ، وَإِلَّا سَلَوْتَ سُلُوَّ الْبَهَائِمِ.
					
				
 
			
					
					
					Either endure like great people or else you will forget like animals.
